Chikondi Maleta, PhD
Head of Operations
Chikondi Maleta has over 18 years’ experience as a development practitioner. He has vast experience in economic analyses, development programming, management and advisory. He has worked with the Ministry of Education in Malawi in a Technical Advisory role on Education Governance and Decentralization sponsored by Development Alternative Incorporation (DAI).
Chikondi also worked with the United Kingdom’s Department for International Development (DFID) in an Education Advisory role and Management of DFID/Malawi Results.
Chikondi has also worked with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) focusing on Programme Design and Management, Contract and Agreements Management and Results Management.
Chikondi has also worked with Ministries of Economic Planning, Finance and Education, leaving the service in a Principal Economist role.
Chikondi has independently offered various advisory and consultancy services in Malawi, Zambia, Southern Africa for Development Corporation (SADC) block, and Syria.
