Press Trust operates through a permanent Secretariat which is headed by the Executive Secretary who is assisted by two (2) Executives and two (3) Managers as follows:

Executive Secretary
Mr Ngalamila joined Press Trust on 1st September 2003 and he has worked diligently in various capacities over the last 14 years. Over those years, he has been at the forefront of supporting and delivering development programmes in the most critical social sectors across the country. Mr Ngalamila has also been managing the strategic interests of the Trust regarding its investments for a long time now and he was actually responsible for growing the investment portfolio of the Trust and ensuring that the portfolio delivers sustainable returns for the Trust. He therefore brings to the executive leadership of the Trust a wealth of experience and intrinsic knowledge of its programmes.
Mr Ngalamila has served as director on the boards of a number of companies and organisations. Currently, he is a non-executive director representing the interests of Press Trust on the boards of Press Agriculture Limited (PAL) and Continental Holdings Limited (CHL). At CHL, he also serves as Chairman of Continental Asset Management Ltd. Mr Ngalamila has recently been appointed as a non-executive director on the board of Press Corporation Plc. He has previously served as aTechnical Committee Member (Director) of the joint UNDP/ Press Trust GSB Pro-Poor Revolving Fund.
Mr Ngalamila is a chartered company secretary (ACIS) with the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA)as well as a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA). He has a Bachelor of Accountancy (B.Acc.) degreewith a distinction from the University of Malawi. He is a duly registered chartered accountant (CA) with the Malawi Accountants Board and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Malawi (ICAM).
Mr Ngalamila was appointed as Executive Secretary of Press Trust on 1st November, 2017.
