Press Trust operates through a permanent Secretariat which is headed by the Executive Secretary who is assisted by two (2) Executives and two (3) Managers as follows:

Elias Azele Malion, B.Acc, MBA, FCCA, CPA (MW)
Head of Finance and Administration
Mr. Malion joined the Trust in March 2008 as Finance Manager and was later promoted to head the Finance and Administration Department of the Trust.
His job involves providing overall leadership, guidance and direction in planning and executing all finance and administrative functions of the Trust. He has vast experience in accounting, treasury management, finance and administration.
Before joining the Trust, Mr. Malion worked for over seven (7) years for Malawi Posts Corporation and close to two (2) years for Deloitte and Touche, an auditing and financial advisory services firm.
Currently, Mr Malion serves as a non-executive director on the boards of Mwaiwathu Private Hospital Limited and Blantyre Hotels Limited.
