Ms. Kazembe joined the Trust in October 2024 as Head of Operations. She is overall in-charge of the Operations Department and manages social development programmes and the diversified investment portfolio of the Trust.

Ms. Kazembe has over 20 years of experience in Macro-Fiscal Policy Analysis, Project Management, Private Sector Development, Financial Sector development and Capital Markets Development. She holds a Masters and Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from University of Malawi and Post Graduate Certificate in Capital Markets Development from George Washington University.

Before joining the Trust, Ms. Kazembe worked in a private sector organization as Director of Business Environment for six (6) years and close to thirteen (13) years as an Economist in the Ministry of Finance. She also previously served as a Senior Research Analyst for Sovereign and Corporate Credit at Gramercy Funds Management in Connecticut, USA in 2017.

Currently, Ms. Kazembe serve as a non-executive director on the boards of Bridgepath Capital Limited and Press Agriculture limited
